Apply Today to Attend the 2023 AASHE Conference and Expo in Boston, MA

The University of Kentucky is proud to announce that it will send 8 students to the 2023 Conference and Expo hosted by the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE). For the first time since 2019, the conference will be held in person, taking place from October 29th-31st in Boston, Massachusetts. Travel dates from 10/29/2023-11/01/2023. Travel, lodging, and registration fees will be waived thanks to funding from the Student Sustainability Council, and all students are encouraged to apply

The AASHE Conference and Expo brings together sustainability leaders from around the world to share effective models, policies, research, collaborations, and transformative actions that advance sustainability in higher education and surrounding communities. Click HERE for the conference website.

The conference is particularly impactful for students, who engage in sustainability learning sessions, keynote presentations, and networking events. Over the course of the event, students will expand their knowledge and skillsets, returning to campus with the tools to create impact.

With a focus on key opportunities for advancing sustainability efforts in higher education, this year’s conference provides opportunities for both students and professionals to brainstorm ways to improve their institutions.

Students may apply to attend AASHE by completing:
