In partnership with the College of Arts and Sciences’ Office of Inclusive Excellence and Office of Institutional Diversity, the UK College of A&S is hosting a month-long series of events celebrating language diversity, religious diversity, family and community diversity, and gender diversity.

“Each week in March 2023, we will focus on a different area of diversity that is often overlooked and celebrate what makes our campus community unique. The College of A&S, in partnership with many of our wonderful departments, will hold a tabling event where students can pick up FREE swag, participate in the featured department’s diversity activity, and sign-up for the corresponding Lunch and Learn event taught by a UK faculty member. The Lunch and Learn events include engaging and informative activities focused on the spotlighted area of diversity, relevant UK swag, and free lunch for attendees! The Lunch and Learns are open to all A&S graduates and undergraduates, but do have a maximum capacity for student participants–so be sure to RSVP!”

Schedule of Events:

Week 1 (Feb. 27 – Mar. 3): Language Diversity Week

Week 2 (Mar. 6 – 10): Religious Diversity Week

Week 3 (Mar. 13 – 17): NO EVENTS – SPRING BREAK

Week 4 (Mar. 20 – 24): Family and Community Diversity Week

Week 5 (Mar. 27 – 31): Gender Diversity Week
